We just had Christmas yesterday at the in-law's- fun time, but too much excitement for one day. Some people like it- getting together with friends and relatives all at once, packing in as much as possible into a couple day window. For me it's too much though- overwhelming. I enjoy just seeing people when I see them, and don't want to worry too much about being sure to see folks when they are in town for a few days, or when they happen to be in a festive mood. If it works out that I get to see someone over the course of the year, that is great and I'll take it. But if it doesn't work out, well so be it- what happens will happen.

Just under a year between posts, sweet. Blogging is definitely a fall/winter type thing I think- cooped up in Minnesota indoors during the winter is a good chance to do some free writing. Just finished consolidating adwords and adsense into a single account, I'm hoping that the ads will start showing up on this one soon.

One of my sites isn't publishing via Blogger today. That stinks. But normally it works well, that is good at least. One thing I learned this week- always be sure who you are sending to when you send an email out to a group. Sent one to folks who would have been better off not seeing what I sent (not that what I said was wrong or bad, but that they were already a little upset about things, and really didn't need to be reminded... doh.). Anyhow, lesson learned.

Putting finishing touches on the landscaping around the hot tub, should be done for the most part this weekend, with rock delivery next week. Fire up!

Great time seeing folks in Madison over the weekend. The Badgers pulled off a victory, but it was way closer than I was hoping it would have been.
