Team USA vs Team Finland tonight in World Cup of Hockey Semifinals at Xcel center. I think I'm going to break down and get a Team USA sweater this game.

Played UNO with Boots, Gus, and Baker Lady the other night. It was a rainy Mpls eve, but we grilled out anyway and played a few cards. Some unfortunate luck the first couple of games, as the ladies outperformed the men a bit. But the men won when it counted, coming back from being on the ropes twice to edge the ladies. Not once, but twice, Linds and Erin were down to their UNO card, at least one time of which it was a Wild, when Maxwell here called them out and made them draw four. True, they should only have had to have drawn two cards, but the rules were right there if they wanted to check, and it was an honest mistake on my part. Anyhow, the door was open for one of them to UNO me back before I went out, but they missed their opportunity there. As a result, the final UNO champ of the night, you're reading him right here! So we didn't end up too bad.
It was a good Labor Day weekend overall, some nice boating yesterday and a fine dinner with Linds' and my folks last night. World Cup of Hockey game on Friday, and another one tonight. Hoping USA will beat Russia the second time around here.
