1-1
Sled Dogs won first V of season last Weds, beating the Spiders 7-4. Gollee it was fun to win, but it was more fun just to see everyone playing well and enjoying being out there skating. More updates on the Sled Dogs as we go here.

Team Happy Hour, on the other hand, is having a perfect season. On the wrong side of being perfect, that is. Maxwell made a "very risky play" (aka a dumb move) while in net, running out with the ball and not getting back in time to prevent a goal. Otherwise, the team did very well, a 1-0 loss to a team which was 3-1-1. 0-6 now for THO. We'll get there.

Crawfish boil meeting in the works this week. "Official" invite email to come out sometime in the next couple of weeks. Happy Monday.

Beluga
I just like that word. Beluga. It's got a lot of ups and downs in it when you say it, really up, and really down. BEE loooo GAAA. Actually, more like High, Low, Medium. I like that.

In the process of selling Lindsay's house. Sign should go up in front today. Open house Sunday 1-4. If you know anyone looking for a 3/1 gem a block from Minnehaha parkway, let me know! We're doing For Sale By Owner at Homeavenue.com to start. Going to be interesting to see how it works... a lot different doing it by owner than using an agent. But should save ~15K when it's all said and done.

Crawfish planning session next week. Possible guest appearance by the Sled Dogs, but probably no bluegrass band, ay.

Stamp Party 2005
No, not that Star Party, Stamp Party. Last night Linds and I put stamps on the return envelopes for our invites, and we packaged them up. Perfect end to the night, which started off with a fine home cooked tomatillo chicken taco dinner, with Sangria! Very much a spanish night, and put us in the mood for some cincodemayo-i-do work. Only sad thing is that I forgot to bring the leftovers to work for lunch today... shucks.

Sweet Charity
No, haven't seen the show. It is showing here for pre-broadway in Mpls though. A lot of billboards around for it. Seems excessive if it's a good show.

Guy in Madison gets pulled over for speeding. Wife is in back seat giving birth to baby. Officer helps deliver the little one. So, do you give a ticket, or no? I say yes. Guy could have killed all three of them, and someone else, by being stupid. Apparently wasn't drivinig too crazily though, 'cause the officer decided not to finish out the ticket.

Gopher Badger game was fun on Sat. Grier turned on some switch, and the Goofs had a halfcourt which the Badgers just couldn't beat. Sure was fun to turn Sally's into a Badger hangout though.
